Ruins of Castle Krásný Buk

The remnant of the castle lies 2 km west of Krásná Lípa.
The castle was probably built in the end of 13th century. It was a small castle on rather small granite hillock that was protected from north by four mounds with moats. During excavations in castle in 1850 there were found potsherds, horseshoes, arrows and Hussite mace. On field near castle ruins there was also found coin of emperor Hadrián (117-138 A.D.).
