Kyjovská terasa Guesthouse - history:

Within reach you will have Hřensko with its charming gorges and a world-known dominant feature Pravčická brána (Sandstone Gate). In the vicinity you will also find the Lusatian Mountains and Elbe Sandstones areas of outstanding natural beauty. The guesthouse was built some 150 years ago and it served as a butcher shop. It was rebuilt into a recreational facility later but it began to decay slowly. Recently the guesthouse underwent a complete sensitive reconstruction which took place in the years of grace 2007 and 2008. It was our aim to restore the building to its original state as closely as possible. All the rooms are furnished in style with 19th century period furniture and they offer pleasant accommodation. The entire guesthouse is a non-smoking area. Internet access and parking (guarded by camera system) within the premises are free.

Through the services and accommodation we offer we are trying to emphasize the natural beauty of Bohemian Switzerland. Rather than at perfection we aim at reaching the feeling that you are enjoying your time with us and would like to return here. Our rooms are unique, each of them is an original in the same way that each person is different and each has different needs. Do feel free to choose the room that suits you best. After you chose your room, please continue and book your room either by phone, or use the booking form or by  e-mail All the rooms have undergone a complete renovation; they are furnished in style with period furniture and have their own en-suite bathrooms (apart from rooms no. 9 and 10 which share one bathroom).
